The Giants Are in Trouble

The New York Giants fell to 0-2 after dropping a heart-breaker to the Washington Football Team last night on Thursday Night Football and Dan Patrick thinks it may be just the beginning of a dismal season. He takes a deep dive into their schedule and concludes they may not even win five games this season, much less compete for the NFC East Division title, possibly the weakest division in the NFL. And they have questions to answer about the futures of QB Daniel Jones and RB Saquon Barkley which only compounds their woes.

Dan Patrick: “If you bring up the Giants schedule here, like, they’re in trouble! Do you pick up Daniel Jones’ 4th year option? Do you re-sign Saquon Barkley? I know it’s only two games but, if you start to look at their schedule, I mean, they got the Kansas City Chiefs coming up, they got the Cowboys coming up…you wouldn’t think at the beginning of the season, ‘Hey, this is going to be a 5-12 team,’ because they might be worse…”
