The Los Angeles Lakers got rolled by the Miami Heat last night and they didn’t look anything like the championship team they had hoped to be. Colin compares their situation to another once proud franchise, the Dallas Cowboys. Colin is convinced that a lowering of standards is the main culprit for both teams and they won’t be competitive again until they focus more on substance than they do on image.
Colin Cowherd: “The standard is so low for the Lakers; they just keep letting it go lower...All brand, no brawn; that’s the Cowboys and the Lakers. And it all comes down to a lowering of standards.”
