Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen married Academy Award nominated actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld during a ceremony at a resort in Ventura, California, on Saturday (May 31), TMZ Sports reports.
A clip shared by the website showed the Sinners actress walking down the aisle and a photo showed her kissing the 2024 Associated Press NFL MVP after they were pronounced as husband and wife. No additional details about the ceremony were given during the initial report on Saturday.
Steinfeld recently gave details about Allen's proposal, gushing over a photo of their engagement during her WhoWhatWear interview.
“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’” Steinfeld said, noting that she “blacked out” in the moment.
“We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word,” she added. “I thought we were going on a little date night and it just so happened to be that the dress matched the flowers in this beautiful setup. I want to make a wallpaper out of this photo and put it in my room.”
Allen and Steinfeld were initially photographed together in Manhattan in May 2023. Allen shared a photo of himself proposing to Steinfeld on November 29 with the caption "11*22*24," with the proposal appearing to have taken place one week prior to the post.
