What comes to your mind when you hear the words “Greek Festival”, “October Fest”, “Italian Fall Festa”? You will imagine and be reminded of the food and heritage of a particular community in Dayton. We are working on building an image of the same type for our Indian Community by developing this annual event that depicts festive moods and food of the diverse communities from India, who have made Dayton as the home now. This is the 5th year we have been planning for the Mela. Last year we had a very successful presentation with 24 stalls and about 1500 visitors during 8 hours of the festive event in June 2017.
