Houston Astros star rookie George Springer joined Jay Mohr Sports on Tuesday and we asked him if he felt any resentment toward rookie teammate Jon Singleton's new 8-year $30 million deal.
Mohr: “Big news in Houston yesterday as fellow rookie Jonathan Singleton gets called up…But, before he plays an inning in the majors he signs an 8-year, $30 million dollar deal, and all of the sudden you seem a little underpaid…”
Springer: “I’m happy for him, as he deserves the best. He’s a great player and a great person. He made this decision for himself because he knows himself the best. I’m excited to get the chance to play with him again.”
